Hardware Pricing

   There are a few hardware requirements for the AV2 system. The central server computer is where all of the AV2 data will be stored and processed. This computer will also create automatic daily backups and serve to update all other workstations when an AV2 update is available. The router + firewall is required to protect your computer network from the Internet and keep hackers from gaining access to your data. Every business should have a router + firewall between them and the Internet. In addition, the router allows us to connect to your system and perform maintenance, release updates, and troubleshoot problems all remotely saving time and money! The Linux system is setup as a kind of sentinel which guards the central server. In the event that your network becomes compromised with a virus the Linux system will continue to run as most viruses attack only Windows-based systems.

Example System Setup

   Bob's Used Vehicles needs a dealership management system. Bob sells only used vehicles and has no service department. He already has a network setup in the dealership with a high-speed Internet connection and a router and there are 5 computers in use. For Bob we would suggest AV2 Basic. Since he already has 5 computers and a network he only needs a central server computer which we could purchase and configure for Bob, or Bob can purchase himself.
