Its all in the numbers. The integrated accounting module is a very flexible and powerful component designed to minimize manual data entry of accounting information. Double entry transactions are used consistently throughout with strict rules in place to allow every transaction to be traced (for auditing purposes). Most journals are automatically created on-the-fly using a novel, easy to use, scriptable journal automation wizard which can be customized depending on the accountant's desires. For example, when a deal is closed a "New Deal Journal" is automatically created, constructed, and made available for the accountant for review. In most cases, the accountant will not need to modify it at all before posting it to the chart of accounts!
The accounting module may be used to generate reports to view your account receivable, payables, gst and pst expenses. An integrated cheque writer can be used to conveniently print cheques when paying expenses, whereas a receipt can be printed when receiving a payment for any invoice. AV2 accounting module also features a high-level interface with QuickBooks™ allowing you to export all journals from AV2 as general journals in QuickBooks. In addition, you can import journals from QuickBooks to AV2. Exporting can be automated such that all journals posted in a day will be exported to QuickBooks at the end of that day.
